The peacock commands the centre first, carved in 18KT gold, neck curved inward, tail spreading into fine scrollwork contained within a round frame that feels like a sacred boundary drawn before a ritual begins. Stones embedded across its form give it texture and depth, so the bird reads as alive. From that medallion, dense woven mesh bands extend outward, tactile and fabric-like, anchored by floral connectors that punctuate the line like carved brackets in an old mandir doorway. Worn complete, it holds the space with authority, bird at the heart, gold stretched outward. But the centre is not permanent; the peacock detaches, transforming the mesh into a sculpted collar on its own, while the medallion becomes a standalone emblem that can rest lower against the chest or be worked into the hair, pinned into a bun where the curve of its feathers echoes gathered strands.
