Terms and Conditions Rivaah Golden Advantage

The Rivaah Golden Advantage Plan (the "Plan") offered by Titan Global Retail LLC (“TGRL" or the “Company”) enables customers (each, a "Customer") to purchase Tanishq jewellery by making monthly payments over a twelve-month period and to avail certain special discounts, subject to these terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions"). By enrolling in the Plan, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions as may be amended by the Company from time to time at its sole discretion.

Agreed Terms and Conditions:

  1. 1. At the time of enrolment, the Customer shall select a fixed monthly payment amount of not less than AED 100 (in multiples of AED 50) (each such payment, a "Plan Payment").
  2. 2. The Plan Payment amount shall not be subject to change once fixed at the time of enrolment (the "Enrolment Date"). The Customer shall make the Plan Payment of the same fixed amount each month for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months from the Enrolment Date.
  3. 3. The Company shall not be obliged to accept any Plan Payments made after the expiry of three hundred and sixty-five (365) days from the Enrolment Date.
  4. 4. Each Plan Payment shall be due on the same calendar date as the Enrolment Date in each subsequent month (each, a "Due Date"), provided that where a month does not contain such calendar date, the Due Date shall fall on the last day of that month. The Customer shall make each Plan Payment no later than thirty (30) days following the applicable Due Date.
  5. 5. The Customer shall make all Plan Payments only at the Tanishq store where the Plan was enrolled or through the online payment facility designated for such store. Any Plan Payment made at, through, or in respect of any other Tanishq store shall not be accepted, unless otherwise approved by the Company at its sole discretion.
  6. 6. Any Plan Payment not received by the Company within such thirty (30) day period shall be deemed a missed payment
  7. 7. In the event of any default in making the payments as mentioned herein, the Customer shall not be entitled to make such missed payment at a later date or to consolidate it with any Plan Payment due in any subsequent month.
  8. 8. For the avoidance of doubt, any missed payment shall be taken into account in determining the Customer's eligibility for promotional discounts in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  9. 9. Against each Plan Payment received, the Company shall calculate the equivalent grams of 22 Karat store gold rate of the day on which such Plan Payment is received (the "Accumulated Gold Grams"). For the avoidance of doubt, the Accumulated Gold Grams represent a notional calculation only and shall not confer upon the Customer any proprietary interest in, or right to delivery of, physical gold. The prevailing in-store gold rate shall be determined by the Company in its sole discretion.
  10. 10. The calendar day on which the twelfth (12th) and final monthly payment is made shall be the eligible purchase date (“Eligible Purchase Date”). From the Eligible Purchase Date, and for a further period of ninety (90) days (“Redemption Period”), the Customer shall be entitled to redeem the Plan by purchasing jewellery and avail the applicable discount as set out in the table below.
  11. 11. During the Redemption Period, the Customer may purchase Tanishq jewellery equal to the value Accumulated Gold Grams calculated at the prevailing 22 Karat gold rate on the date of purchase (“Redemption Value”).
  12. 12. The Customer shall receive the discount solely based on the number of monthly Plan Payments made to the Company, as specified in the table below, regardless of the number of months elapsed.

Total Accumulated Gold Grams 7.327

Illustration:

If a customer pays AED 400/- every month for 12 months with gold rate as per the illustrative table given above, the customer accumulates total equivalent weight of 7.327 grams of gold as per the 22 Karat store gold rate on the date of payment. At the time of purchase, the customer can buy jewellery equal to the value Accumulated Gold Grams calculated at the prevailing 22 Karat gold rate on the date of purchase and avail discounts as per the table above. For the additional grammage in case of purchase over and above 7.327 grams, ongoing store offer, if any, may be applied.

  1. 13. The Customer shall mandatorily conclude the purchase and take delivery of the jewellery within the Redemption Period. In the event the Customer does not do so within the Redemption Period, the Company shall, within thirty (30) days following the expiration of the Redemption Period, refund an amount equivalent to the cumulative amount of the Plan Payments received net of VAT through the method of payment the Customer used to make Plan Payments or through an alternative method confirmed by the Customer, subject to verification by the Company. In such circumstances, the Customer shall not be entitled to any Accumulated Gold Grams or any other value derived from the Accumulated Gold Grams or to any discounts available under the Plan.
  2. 14. The Customer shall be required to purchase jewellery with a value equal to or exceeding the Redemption Value, and partial redemption is not permitted. The Customer shall be eligible for the applicable discounts, only in respect of the Redemption Value. For any purchase in excess of the Redemption Value, any ongoing promotional offer at the stores, if any, shall apply to the differential amount at the Company's sole discretion.
  3. 15. In the event that the Customer chooses to redeem the Plan against a custom order or an advance booking, the Company may permit the same provided the order value is equivalent to or more than the Redemption Value and applicable Plan benefits may be availed. The gold rate applicable for final invoicing shall be the 22 Karat store gold rate prevailing on the date of order placement, irrespective of any fluctuations during the order lead time. Accordingly, the Plan shall be deemed to be fully redeemed on the date of order placement
  4. 16. Once the custom order is placed against redemption of the Plan, the Customer shall be obligated to accept the finished product, and no refund in any form shall be permitted, provided that this exclusion shall not apply where the finished product is materially defective. In the event that the finished product does not meet the Customer's expectations on aesthetic or other subjective grounds, the Customer shall be required to select and purchase an alternative piece of jewellery from the showroom inventory equal to more than the Redemption Value and applicable Plan benefits will be available. If the Customer fails to make a selection from the showroom inventory, the Customer shall be required to purchase 24 Karat gold coin(s) equivalent to the Accumulated Gold Grams (rounded down to the nearest whole gram). Any fractional amount remaining after such rounding shall be refunded to the Customer through the original method of payment or to the bank account provided by the Customer at the time of enrolment. No Plan discounts or ongoing consumer offers shall apply for gold coin purchase.
  5. 17. In the event that the Customer wishes to discontinue the Plan prior to the completion of six (6) months from the Enrolment Date, the Customer shall have the option to purchase jewellery from the store for a value equivalent to the Accumulated Gold Grams, calculated at the Company's prevailing in-store 22 Karat gold rate on the date of such purchase. For the avoidance of doubt, the Customer shall not be eligible for any Plan discount.
  6. 18. No refunds in cash, credit, or in any other form will be provided under this Plan prior to the expiry of the Redemption Period, except as required by applicable law.
  7. 19. Without prejudice to the Company's rights under these Terms , the discount available under the Plan shall be applicable only to the purchase of jewellery and shall not apply to the purchase of any non-jewellery items, including, without limitation, gold coins, gold bars, gift vouchers, silver items, and such other items as the Company may designate from time to time.
  8. 20. The discount availed pursuant to the Plan cannot be linked or combined with any other existing offers, promotions, or any other plans offered by the Company and is not transferable under any circumstance.
  9. 21. The Plan shall be redeemable only at the Tanishq store within the UAE at which the Customer enrolled in the Plan and shall not be entitled to redeem the Plan at any other Tanishq store within or outside the UAE.

  1. 1. Only natural persons aged eighteen (18) years or above as at the Enrolment Date and possessing full legal capacity to enter into binding obligations shall be eligible to participate in the Plan. The Plan is designed exclusively to promote the adornment and personal consumption of jewellery, and accordingly, participation is available only to individuals. Companies, limited liability companies, partnerships, sole proprietorships, trusts, foundations, and any other bodies corporate or unincorporated associations or entities of any kind are not eligible to participate in the Plan.
  2. 2. The Customer shall be required to complete the Company's prescribed enrolment form and submit such identity, address proof, and other documentation as the Company may require at the time of enrolment or at any time thereafter. The Company reserves the right to reject or suspend any enrolment application where the Customer fails to provide the required documentation or information to the Company's satisfaction.
  3. 3. The Customer shall be required to accept these Terms and Conditions at the time of Enrolment, whether by written signature, electronic confirmation (including by tick-box or digital acceptance), or such other method as the Company may prescribe. 4. 4. Plan Payments must be made by credit / debit cards, bank payments, electronic or digital payments, cheques made payable to the Company, or any other mode accepted by the Company from time to time. Where the Customer elects to make Plan Payments by way of credit card or debit card auto-debit or any recurring payment arrangement, additional terms and conditions may apply, which the Customer shall be required to accept at the time of selecting such payment method.
  5. 5. The Company shall not be responsible or liable for any failure, delay, error, or disruption in the processing of any Plan Payment, whether made online or by any other method, including, without limitation, any failure, delay, or error caused by the Customer's bank, card issuer, payment service provider, payment gateway, card network, or any other third-party intermediary.
  6. 6. The Company shall be under no obligation to send reminders, notifications, or any other communications to the Customer in respect of Plan Payments

The Company reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of the Customer by such means as the Company may determine in its sole discretion, including, without limitation, SMS verification, one-time password (OTP) generation, identity verification, video identification, or any other method, at any time during the tenure of the Plan, including at the time of enrolment, at the time of concluding a purchase, and at the time of taking delivery of the jewellery.
  8. 8. The customer may appoint a nominee at the time of enrolment upon submission of relevant documentation. In the event of death of the customer where no nomination has been made, Titan may extend the benefits of the Plan only to the legal heirs of the customer, subject to such legal heirs submitting the required documentation and satisfying the Company of their heirship. The decision of Titan shall be final on sufficiency of any document in all such cases and the same shall be binding upon the claimants.
  9. 9. In case of any change to the Customer's contact details, address, bank account details, payment method details, identity documents, or any other information or documentation provided by the Customer in connection with the Plan, the Customer shall immediately contact customer care for effecting the changes. Such modifications made shall be subject to the satisfaction and discretion of the Company.

  11. 11. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that all jewellery purchased under the Plan shall be subject to making charges, wastage, applicable taxes (including value added tax), and such other charges, fees, duties, or levies as may be applicable, in each case as determined by the Company at its prevailing rates on the Eligible Purchase Date.
